Alex, I sure have had fun today reading your essay “Breath and Breadth” and learning more about the good work you are doing. As I read all of this, I think of Frost and “The Road Less Traveled.” In my twenties, I was on this path in Maine: logging in the woods with draft horses, living in a small log cabin, teaching woodcraft. A few years ago, I helped build a wood canvas canoe with Jerry Stelmok. Thanks for a little time with old memories. AND we will talk about axes when we have that nice opportunity. Oakland is part of my life as well, another story from my twenties and summer camp on Great Pond. Again, we will talk when we talk. Tom Macfie
